Evaluation components

TR - technical report:

  • containing all the details regarding the project requirements, user interaction, and an interface mockup;
  • must have a structure similar to the Readme Template;
  • must be made in one of the following formats: HTML, Markdown, PDF;
  • the mockup must be complete (cover all the pages) and must be realised using a dedicated software instrument;
  • the mockup must contain realistic data (mock data) and not "Lorem ipsum" or similar;
  • two variants of the mockup must be realised, for desktop and for mobile;
  • evaluated in the 8th week;
  • will not be reevaluated.

I - interface prototype:

  • working solution, developed in HTML + CSS;
  • the HTML code must be valid;
  • the CSS styles must be valid;
  • must be complete (cover all the pages);
  • must present realistic data (mock data) and not "Lorem ipsum" or similar;
  • evaluated in the 13th week;
  • will not be reevaluated.

P - practical project:

  • fully working solution;
  • evaluated in the examination session;
  • can be re-evaluated in the re-examination session (having the maximum possible score reduced with 2 points);
  • more details on the dedicated page.

Other important information

  • All the components will be evaluated with points from 0 to 10.
  • The evaluation of the P component is an oral evaluation based on the practical project, testing the knowledge (theoretical and practical) gained during the semester.
  • Each student will be allocated a maximum of 15 minutes for the oral presentation of the project and must be physically present in the laboratory.
  • Students who intend to increase their grade will take an individual written test (this only applies to students who pass the course in the examination session). The average between the score resulting from the evaluation of this test (maximum 10 points) and the final score from the evaluation session will represent the new grade.

Final score and passing conditions

FS = 15% * TR + 15% * I + 70% * P, with FS ≥ 5 and P ≥ 5
