Evaluation (RO)
The final mark (N) for Computer Networks course is computed as follows:
N = 0.5*P+0.4*L+1
where:
The minimal mark to pass this course is at least 5 for the P component and at least 5 for the final score (N).
The final mark for this discipline (ro) is computed consistent with ECTS, according to actual regulations.

- P = a practical project. Details here;
- L = evaluation during the 4th and the 11th week; a mark for this component will also be granted under the following circumstances:
- Activity during the laboratories;
- Contributions to the kernel, components, libraries of a Linux operating system or various available distributions;
- Administration of a public computer network;
- Other specific activities: translations of the documentation, contributions to scientific papers et.al.

Additional observations
- Being late at both course and laboratory classes is not allowed; access to students in the classroom / laboratory will be prohibited after teacher's entrance.
- The laboratories are mandatory; each student must attend the classes in accordance with her/his group schedule.
- Any special situation will be reported in due time to the course or laboratory teacher (preferably at the beginning of the semester).
- Any fraud attempt will result in measures being taken: failure due to academic dishonesty, the proposal to expell the student in question.
- For students from previous years, who did not pass this course, some partial results can be taken into consideration: P or L (just one component), obtained during the academic years 2018-2019, 2019-2020, 2020-2021, 2021-2022, 2022-2023, or 2023-2024. The results will not be automatically considered, each student that wants this must notify (by email), in which the component to be taken into consideration must be clearly stated) the laboratory professor at the beginning of the semester.
